When considering practicing, starting a project, or doing work that's not black and white, we tend to procrastinate.
Maybe it's fear of the unknown. Maybe it's not having a guarantee of success. Maybe it's not being sure where to start.
However, there's one thing that's certain.
Procrastination is boring. It leads to a long list of uncompleted projects, regret, and broken hopes and dreams. It leads to doing mundane, everyday tasks instead of exciting projects that lead to new places.
But, when you do the work, one thing is guaranteed.
Whether it's good or bad, a success or a failure, at least it will be interesting.
If it goes well, you can learn from what went well.
If it sucked, you can try and figure out why. Figure out how to optimize for the next time.
But if you don't do the work at all, you don't get to do any of that.
So, when in doubt whether to practice, work, or start something, just remember...worst case, it will still be interesting.
