Cubing and Efficiency

Cubing is becoming all the rage among kids. And adults, for that matter.

Solving a Rubik's cube as quickly as possible. There are entire businesses like Cubicle that are dedicated to providing Rubik's cubes of all shapes and sizes. With silky smooth action and magnetic parts.

I couldn't help but jump on the bandwagon and memorize a set of steps to solve a Rubik's cube. I can do it. But I imagine in the slowest way possible.

The idea is to get more efficient at the task. To the point where there are people who can solve a cube in a matter of seconds.

Don't believe me? Check out this video.

There's no question. We have the ability to make tasks as efficient as possible.

The exciting part? It doesn't have to be limited to cubing.
