How Can You Make 2021 Your Worst Year Yet?

Here is a fun mental hack.

When we set out to do something new, we often get overwhelmed pretty quickly. Even if we were excited about it at first.

It may be the commitment required. It may be the amount of time involved. It may be the fear over what the neighbors will think.

So...

...rather than thinking about how you will accomplish your ambitious goals to take over the world...

...ask yourself this question.

What can I do to ensure that I fail?

What can you do to make sure there is absolutely no chance you will succeed at the piano?

What precautions can you take to make sure you never lose those 20 pounds this year?

How can you be the worst friend on the planet?

You may surprisingly find yourself already doing some of these things. In any case...

Meticulously plan out how you will fail.

And then...go do the opposite of all of that. That's it.

Believe it or not, little tricks and games like this can yield surprising results. But if this one doesn't, rest assured that your wasted time will be refunded.

And so, go forth now, dear reader! Figure out how you can make 2021 your worst year yet. Design a plan to become the worst possible version of yourself. And then, do the opposite of all those things.

We can't wait to see what you do.

When 2 + 2 = 10

When it comes to practicing, most people don’t get how time works. People think the amount of practice time is most important. Rather than the frequency. Logic tells us this: Practicing 5 minutes for six days would be the same as practicing 30 minutes for one day. It adds up to the same total minutes, so the benefits are the same.
