If you worked 100 years ago, you were probably a laborer. But, times have changed. Especially with the advancing of technology.
Most people are now "knowledge workers." Charged with creating ideas, systems, and innovations rather than following orders to build widgets.
But, school hasn't caught up with the times yet.
For the most part, school still operates on a system where students are laboring. Producing "widgets" of information, measured by answers on a test.
Rather than working their problem-solving, collaboration, productivity, and focus skills.
No one ever changed an industry, invented something new, or changed the world by getting more of the right answers.
It was by becoming a better, more effective knowledge worker.
