When my older daughter was three years old, we were out for a walk around the neighborhood. It was a bright summer day.
A gentleman was out running without a shirt on, as males confident about their above-the-waist physique are apt to do.
I could see it coming.
Without reservation, and loud enough the entire block could hear.
My daughter laughed, pointed, and shouted, "That man's naked!!!"
Funny how innocent honesty isn't considered okay anymore once children reach a certain age. We have to hold everything in with a filter, for better or worse.
But once in a while, we could all use some good old-fashioned, unbridled honesty.
Especially when the metaphorical naked man is running past us.
It’s amazing how kids can do that!!
