The YouTube Genie

YouTube is like a genie that will bring forth anything you want to see.

Literally.

It's a minion of sorts.

You can clap your hands and say, "YouTube! Show me a chicken playing the piano." And YouTube will do it.

You can also say things like, "YouTube! Show me how to change a flat tire."

No doubt there are dozens of those.

You can also say, "YouTube! Show me other people who've dealt with my problems and how they overcame them."

Inspiration awaits.

When used properly, YouTube can be more than cat videos and algorithms. It can teach, guide, and inspire.

So long as you check your sources. You know...just like you learned in school.

Never miss a blog post!

For parents, students, and anyone else who believes that music can and should be a meaningful part of everyone's life.

When 2 + 2 = 10

When it comes to practicing, most people don’t get how time works. People think the amount of practice time is most important. Rather than the frequency. Logic tells us this: Practicing 5 minutes for six days would be the same as practicing 30 minutes for one day. It adds up to the same total minutes, so the benefits are the same.
