What’s the Solution?

There's one main reason I don't watch the news.

There are lots of problems. And zero solutions. By definition, the news gives me lots of things to be scared of. And zero tools to solve them.

Funny how that works, right?

It's the same thing that you find on social media all over the place.

People take the time to write entire articles on problems of the world. Overworked schoolchildren. Taxes that are out of control. Climate change.

But no solutions. Or, even an attempt at a solution. Other than "things need to change."

But if you take a look at children, they're natural problem solvers. Give them a challenge, and they'll tackle it more relentlessly than the most overworked CEO.

We all have the ability inside of us. It just gets lost or hidden over time.

Because most of the time we know what the answers to our challenges are. It's simply a matter of having the courage to pursue them.

Try this experiment. Next time you're having a tough time or a challenge, do this.

Ask the question, "What's the solution?"

The answer will probably come pretty quickly.

Then you just need to go do it.

When 2 + 2 = 10

When it comes to practicing, most people don’t get how time works. People think the amount of practice time is most important. Rather than the frequency. Logic tells us this: Practicing 5 minutes for six days would be the same as practicing 30 minutes for one day. It adds up to the same total minutes, so the benefits are the same.
