Probably a bit unnatural. Possibly even scary. Because slowing down is not part of the child's world. At least not as much as all the other stuff.
If children's education only consists of following orders. Getting the right answers on the tests. Completing the teacher's assignments, no matter how absurd they might be...
...will it ever occur to them they have the power to make creative choices? To problem solve? To stand up to the unreasonable boss who's putting the bottom line before their needs as people?
Every day, we must think about what world we're creating for our children through their experiences. It will determine what they believe is possible. It will determine their choices. It will determine their self-worth.
