Tuition

Tuition payments are made monthly at the beginning of each month. Or, if you prefer, you can make payment for the entire semester upfront (18 weeks).

Payment can be made by cash, check, or debit/credit card. (Where does the tuition go?)

We don't have an open enrollment period - students may begin lessons anytime year-round.

While tuition is based on lesson length, your tuition includes:

  • a one-on-one private lesson per week.
  • unlimited access to all workshops, recitals, and other events throughout the year.
  • unlimited access to our digital resources and memberships.
  • ongoing communication with your teacher between lessons.

Weekly Lesson Rates

The pricing table below indicates the cost of lessons per week. Please note that we do observe national and school holidays as non-lesson weeks. (You don't pay for those weeks, and we don't teach those weeks.)

Where does the tuition go?

  • Faculty pay and faculty benefits - we pay our faculty 50% higher than average for the South Shore in addition to providing health and dental benefits.
  • Piano tunings and equipment.
  • Technology and equipment for online teaching, during COVID-19 and beyond.
  • Certifications and professional memberships, bringing the latest and greatest of piano pedagogy.
  • Other bills (maintaining our student portal, payroll...you know, all of that business stuff.)
