Small Things We Take for Granted

Think about how you're breathing right now. Ever consider the way you breathe might have a huge impact on your health?

In The Oxygen Advantage by Patrick McKeown, the author sheds some light on this overlooked subject.

McKeown writes how we humans think about how much we eat and how much we drink. But, we never stop to think about how much we breathe.

It seems that we can over-breathe just the same as we overeat. Uh oh.

And breathing through your mouth is one of the easiest ways to over-breathe. Thus causing a myriad of energy and health issues over time.

The simple habit of always breathing through your nose can make big differences in your energy and health. The best part is, you can literally get started by the time you finish this sentence.

I won't ruin the rest of the book, but do check it out if you want to learn some new tools for your wellness arsenal. Or for your kids, for that matter.

The nuances of breathing serve as an example of the small things we take for granted.

I mean...breathing isn't a small thing. But it's not something we really think about. We just do it.

It's not a "priority" in our lives, per se.

But by paying attention and making some changes, amazing transformations can happen.

So, breathing or otherwise, what small changes can you make today?
