Just Fix It Already

We know the solutions to most of the problems we complain about.

I need to lose weight.

Eat healthier and exercise regularly.

I never have time to practice.

Schedule a time to practice or cut some other activities.

My house is a mess.

Schedule some time to clean it.

My co-worker is treating me like a real jerk.

Inform your co-worker that they're treating you like a jerk and you'd like it to stop.

Fixing things is hard. It requires emotional labor. But the alternative is to live with broken problems in perpetuity.

So for your future self's sake, just fix it already.
