Obsessed with Improvement

The world's top performer's don't focus on what they do well. They might not even be very confident.

They focus on their weaknesses. The things that can be improved upon. They are obsessed with improvement.

It's the antithesis of our culture of positivity.

You know, the one that tells everyone that everything's going to be fine, you're just swell the way you are, so on and so forth.

Not that there's anything wrong with positivity. But when it dulls us into a sense of "we don't need to improve anything," we miss an opportunity to live a more meaningful life.

Take a look at something negative about yourself.

Own it.

Figure out how you can improve upon it.

Practice.

Repeat.

Stay obsessed with that process long enough, and you'll probably become famous for something one day.
