We know there's a mental health problem among students right now. In fact, there's probably been one for a while.
All it takes is a Google search to see the statistics.
But here's what I don't get.
If mental health is a problem in schools, then...why don't we teach kids how to take care of their mental health? In school?
Seems like a no-brainer, right?
The media has a way of reporting problems without their solutions.
And so as non-school teachers and parents, we have to be all the more vigilant.
Vigilant to help our kids find those solutions where school falls short.
