If you're having trouble staying motivated, here's a clever hack. It will work whether you're practicing the piano, exercising, working on a project, whatever. Literally anything.
Because when it comes to these things, there's always that resistance. That voice in your head that says things like:
- We don't have time.
- There's always tomorrow.
- I don't feel like it right now.
- I'd rather do something more fun.
When this happens, ask yourself a simple question.
"Will I be glad after?"
In other words, after you put in the work, will you be glad that you did it?
Most of the time, the answer will be yes. Then you will have successfully rationalized doing the work now.
Try it today, and let us know what you think.
