Vinh Pham

Vinh Pham is a pianist and music educator in the Greater Boston area, US. Originally from Vietnam, Vinh received his Undergraduate Degree in Piano Performance and a Teaching Artist Certificate from the Longy School of Music of Bard College in 2015. There, he studied with the late great pianist and teacher Ludmilla Lifson, Piano Pedagogy with Esther Ning Yau, Chamber Music with Carol Mastrodomenico, Mihail Jojatu, Jane Struss, Marco Granados, and Masterclasses with Wayman Chin, Hugh Hinton, Leslie Amper and Peter Serkin. In 2018, he completed his Master of Music studies under the phenomenal Steinway Artist Spencer Myer.
In 2016, Vinh took on the role of Interim Music Director at the historic First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church of Medfield. Afterwards, as part of his assistantship for the Masters of Music degree at Longy, he continued to work with the Saint Peter School choir in Cambridge, providing musical accompaniment and solo performances for weekly and Holiday Services.
In 2022, Vinh was elected the Chair of Independent Music Teacher Forum at the Massachusetts Music Teachers National Association, responsible for advising and connecting aspiring independent music teachers in the state of Massachusetts.
Vinh has taught both when he was in Vietnam, and non-piano majors at Longy. In addition to teaching at SSPS, Vinh also maintains his own private studio, and plays active teaching roles at the Community Music Center of Boston in the South End. Vinh has been on faculty at South Shore Piano School since 2025.
