Sometimes even villains can teach us about some things. In this case, the Terminator.
You know, the famous character Arnold Schwarzenegger played. The "I'll be back" character.
Or in his Austrian accent pronounced more like, "I'll be Bach" (har har har...).
The terminator is the robot sent from the future to kill the mom of John Connor, the future leader of the human resistance. The terminator is disguised to look like a human.
But the thing about the terminator isn't the human lookalike-ness.
It's that he's relentless.
No matter what the heroes try to do. Run. Hide. Shoot it. Whatever.
It just...keeps...coming.
It's only in the final scene (spoiler alert) when the heroine traps the terminator in a hydraulic press that it's finally crushed.
While the character is a killing machine, we can take some of those relentless qualities for our own non-killing work.
Things like completing a project. Practicing. Learning a skill.
Whether you're tired, hungry, sick, gassy, whatever...be like the terminator (within reason, of course).
Relentless in your pursuit of those exciting things you've been dreaming about.
