Busy Versus Productive

When practicing music, it's one thing to log hours.

It's another thing to make progress during those hours.

As is life.

Our society wears "busy" like a badge of honor. But are we moving forward with the time we spend? Are we happy with how we're spending our time? Do we feel fulfilled at the end?

This is the difference between busy and productive.

To be productive, one needs clearly defined goals and a path to get there. Specific steps.

Then do those steps. Now.

Put the busywork that doesn't serve you on hold.

Momentum, excitement, and happiness await.
