Not long ago, I was researching resources for homeschooling. And I came across a book with an interesting title.
Don't Waste Your Time Homeschooling
To my surprise, the book had a number of 5-star reviews on Amazon, despite what appeared to be an offensive title. I just had to see what the deal was.
As it turns out, the book is in support of homeschooling.
The book was about homeschooling well, and not wasting your time doing things that will get you off track.
I can only imagine how many book sales the author lost because they didn't take the time to ask a few people how the title came off.
When we create art, we're too close to it. We don't have 20/20 vision. We have to show it to other people.
We need to ask them to tell us what they see.
And make sure it comes close to what we had in mind for the work to begin with.
