I Don’t Know How to Fly This Thing!

I'm sure you've watched the scene in several movies.

The protagonists are in a high-speed air chase. Pursued by ruthless killers.

The hero says to the sidekick, "Take the wheel!"

The sidekick says, "I don't know how to fly this thing!!"

But despite not knowing how to fly this thing, the craft is flown like a pro. In every movie. Every time.

Granted, it would make for an odd scene if the craft immediately crashed. But that's another blog for another time.

Sometimes, we have to fly even when we're not sure how to use the equipment. Most of the time, everything will be just fine.

Figuratively speaking, of course. Things like being afraid to publish an article, build a website, or perform in public.

By all means, don't operate airplanes, spacecraft, or fighter jets if you're ill-equipped. And if you're being pursued by ruthless killers, call 911.
