Operating on 80%

We know we're supposed to get 7-9 hours of sleep per night. But we rarely do.

We know kids are supposed to get 9-12 hours of sleep until age 12. And then, 8-10 hours from age 13-18. It's even on the CDC website.

But we discard this data in the name of rigorous academic and extracurricular schedules.

It's a similar story with food, exercise, and healthy boundaries with electronics.

And so, most of us are operating on 80% of our potential.

But because everyone else is operating on 80%, it all appears normal.

Take care of the foundations. Let everyone else do their own thing. And see just how productive, happy, and excited about life you can become.
