Overcoming Inertia

Inertia is a real thing, my friends.

Sitting on the couch, knowing that getting a drink of water would be a good thing to do, but it just feels like too much.

Reading the long email from the company that should have known better? Nope. Not today. Maybe tomorrow. Tomorrow meaning probably never.

Is it any wonder that practicing an instrument, or practicing anything, is such a challenge?

But, the cool thing about inertia is that the hardest part is starting. Once you summon the will to start pushing the boulder, eventually it keeps going. And it starts building momentum.

Before you know it, it's not a chore anymore.

New habits form.

Lives are changed.

So, get pushing. There's no better day than today.
