The Stress Myth

Contrary to popular belief, the world isn't stressful.

The world can't be stressful. Because stress is a manifestation of the human brain. It comes from within.

Compare someone who handles a crisis with calm resolve with one who freaks out, panics, and makes emotional trigger-finger decisions.

Same crisis. Different responses. The crisis didn't create the stress itself. We did.

Buying into the belief that it's the world's problem and we're innocent bystanders sure makes for an easy out. That's for sure.

But when we acknowledge that we create our own stress, that's some exciting news.

Because if we created it, then we can manage it and undo it.
