Space to Breathe

If I had to pick one thing lacking in most of our lives, it's probably this:

Having the space to breathe.

Our kids are in school all day, then head to after-school activities, followed by homework.

It's hard to find the time to be bored. The time to play. The time to imagine.

Then we grow up...school and extracurriculars are replaced by work and family obligations.

It's hard to find the time and space to ruminate, imagine, relax, and get inspired.

But, there is good news.

Space is free.

And time, while a commodity, is also free.

Should we choose to take control of it, that is.

When we feel overwhelmed, it's the closest thing we can find to a magic cure.

Find some space, find some time, and just be.

Sounds like BS, right? Try it for just a few minutes every day.

After a week, you'll be astounded how effective this tiny oasis of space and time can be.
