It's so easy to put off sharing our work until it's ready.
But as we know as artists and teachers, it never feels ready.
This is why we need regular recitals, showcases, and deadlines. To have a "shipping schedule" for our work.
To put it out there, ready or not.
This is what the SNL guys have done for decades.
They don't perform because they're ready. They perform because it's Saturday night.
So, when's your next performance?

For better or for worse, I’m planning on playing my current piece at the next recital. I may be the only adult…again, but I’m learning that’s ok!! I love watching the little ones and I can’t wait to see what they do next and how they improve. I also hope that my efforts inspire just one person, be they kid or adult, to try something out of their comfort zone!! It’s not as horrible as u may think.
