Alexandros Kyriakopoulos

As a dedicated pianist with over six years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music Degree in Piano Performance from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Alexandros Kyriakopoulos brings both passion and expertise to nurture the younger and older generations of musicians in the Northeast region of the U.S.

Over the years, he has taught a variety of ages and levels, tailoring lessons to his students' unique goals and abilities. Alexandros's comprehensive approach integrates technical training, innovative activities, music theory, and artistic expression, ensuring students develop not only proficiency, but a deep appreciation for music. With his structured lesson plans and a supportive teaching style, Alexandros aims to inspire students to reach their full potential.

In addition to teaching, Alexandros has extensive performance experience, ranging from solo recitals in the U.S. (Boston, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania), U.K, Australia, Greece, Italy, and Puerto Rico, to collaborations with chamber musicians and ensembles such as the Charles River Wind Ensemble. This background allows Alexandros to offer students valuable insights into performance preparation and stage presence, as well as overcoming challenges like anxiety, stage fright and lack of confidence.

Alexandros joined South Shore Piano School as artist-in-residence in March 2025.
